Pulled from a body of work produced during a residency and exhibition project in Vienna last year, a series of graphic paintings featuring images of black figures ranging from Malcom X and Assata Shakur to drill rappers and gang members to demonstrate the breath of black reality and thought, to put all positions on equal terms. I produced a few shirt samples then that I performed in for the opening of the exhibition
